Can anyone tell me if unreal 5, Will be ok with 2d games or are they just after 3d games now.
I saw Paper2D in the native plugins folder, I believe UE5 have the same 2D resources from UE4.
I just came across this satisfying a UE5 curiosity search and it was a negative reddit comment that made me think of this. As long at you can use sprites, and set a camera to orthographic there is nothing stopping anyone from doing 2D, and that goes for just about any game engine.
