(UE5) How do i make an Day/Night cycle in UE5 with a Moon

So i got the problem that i have the day cycle working but if it gets night its complete darkness and theres no moon how can i do this i looked up many tutorials but nothing worked for me

No idea man, ive been looking for 6 months but the people on youtube are only willing to do easy tutorials. Wont do anything advanced.

I tried duplicating the directional light and reversing its effects, so it becomes light at night but with less intensity, but that just caused my FPS to die and UE5 to crash. so idk if it worked or not.

When you add a second directional light for the ‘moon’, make sure you set its ‘Atmosphere Sun Light Index’ to 1 so the atmosphere system doesn’t get confused.
You can find the setting in this section of the directional light

Even better would be to use the ‘Env. Light Mixer’ from the ‘Window’ menu if you are on a version of UE that has it
