Hi, my first post here. Last couple of months we’ve investigated UE5 as a new step in our workflow and we are surprised by the power of it! Here is one of our first animations done in UE5.

Hey there @Beyond_3D,

Hope you’re doing well!

Not sure if your team created all the assets in this but just- wow. It all seems realistic and honestly just breathtaking. Did you base this on a specific location?

Hi @PresumptivePanda,

Thanks, I’m fine, hope you also do!?

Thanks for the compliment!
We’ve used a lot of quixel bridge assets here in combination with models we created in 3dsMax and then exported to Unreal with the help of datasmith.
Not all models in 3dsMax are completely created by ourselves because a lot of furniture designers publish 3D models themselves online. But we did a lot of optimization to these models to make them more realistic.

The location and resort is based on Hotel Habitas Alula that opened in 2022.

If you have any more questions, please let me know!

Cheers!

That clip is amazing! Very cool. Nice work…
Now, you should do a visualization of a massive windstorm coming through that canyon using Niagra.
I have never figured out how these desert resorts deal with the blowing sand issue.
