If you want to use the native version you have to build it from GitHub because the Epic Games Launcher version isn’t that. You get the 404 error when you haven’t signed in to Github and haven’t authorized epic games. Guide to get in to GitHub: Unreal Engine on GitHub - Unreal Engine
