UE5 for game project? Nanite Question

I want to start working on a new game project and I am asking myself whether I should use UE5 instead of UE4 or stay with UE4 for now since I can always upgrade to UE5 later. I would really love to work with Nanite to create realistic and beautiful landscapes with my own assets but I am worried about the hardware requirements.
Not about my own hardware since mine is fine and I have no problem handling UE5. I am wondering what the players hardware needs to be to run a game in good/decent quality that uses the Nanite system for its environment?! Assuming the performance part is worked out completely in UE5 and everything should be fine will something like a GTX 1070 be enough for example?

I am still not sure about how you actual texture your High Poly Models for UE5. I am ofc used to the normal way which is High Poly → Low Poly Texturing/PBR but haven’t textured any High Poly model yet. Also how do UV’s work here?
If someone has knownledge to share about this topic I would be really thankful!

Performance on UE5 shouldn’t be a problem, unless you create a light-heavy environment that can RIP older RTX cards. Although we’ve been said, that Lumen can handle anything at this point. I guess you have to test your ideas on your own, but I’d recommend starting with UE5 since it has a lot of tools that speeds up the development process and make it easier overall.
