UE5 Extremely slow Skeletal Mesh import

Wondering if anyone is the same issue as me.

I’m currently importing animated people into my scene (through Anima). In UE 4.27 I could import and compute the assets within 10 minutes.

Through the same process with UE 5 it can take over 4 hours.

Wondering if this is something Epic are aware of and if anyone has found a fix.

I’m having the same issue. I thought something was up with my project or installation but maybe it’s a bug. If you just leave it, does it eventually come in OK? Did you find a fix?
