We are currently working on an Archviz project in Unreal Engine 5 and are seeking assistance in exporting it to HTML5 for integration into the client’s website. We’ve observed that UE5 lacks a built-in option for exporting to HTML5. Could someone provide guidance on this matter, or perhaps suggest an alternative method for presenting the exported project on the client’s website that doesn’t rely on HTML5? Your help is greatly appreciated as this is a critical aspect of our project.
Thank you.

Hey there @Pixel_School_3d1! Welcome to the community! HTML5 plugin support had ended back in version 4.24 due to the barriers to maintaining support, the heft of the engine, as well as very limited userbase. If your project doesn’t rely on UE5 features, you may be able to just use 4.24 and export it to HTML5, otherwise you may need to update the plugin (source code below) or to look at other options such as pixel streaming if you require web support.
Exporting an Unreal Engine 5 project to HTML5 can be tricky since UE5 doesn’t have a built-in option for HTML5 export. However, there is an effective alternative that can seamlessly integrate your Archviz project into a client’s website without relying on HTML5.
Using Vagon Streams, you can stream your Unreal Engine 5 Archviz project directly to the web, enabling high-quality interactive experiences without the need for complex exports. Here’s how it works:
High-Quality Streaming: Vagon Streams ensures optimal performance and graphical fidelity by leveraging high-powered NVIDIA RTX GPUs.
Easy Integration: You can embed your streamed Unreal Engine experiences directly into any website using an iframe. This allows your clients to interact with the Archviz project seamlessly within their browser.
No Coding Required: Simply upload your Unreal Engine build to Vagon Streams, and we handle everything from secure hosting and streaming to performance optimization.
Showcase and Demos: Check out our Archviz use case to see how other projects have successfully utilized Vagon Streams for architectural visualization.
Steps to Embed Your UE Experience:
Upload Your Project: Upload your Unreal Engine build to Vagon Streams.
Get the Embed Code: Once your project is hosted, Vagon Streams provides an iframe embed code.
Embed in Your Website: Place the iframe code into the client’s website HTML, and your Archviz project will be accessible directly within the site.
For more information, you can check out our documentation.
If you’re interested in using Vagon Streams, just drop a hello to streams@vagon.io. We’ll be happy to walk you through our demos and define free usage credits for your account.
