(UE5) Destroying Actors with Geometry Collection components crashes the engine

Hey guys,

I have been having this issue since the EA of UE5 was released and it still seams to be a big issue with Geometry Collection components when an actor is destroyed that has a Geometry Collection component there is a very high chance it will just crash the engine. I’ve seen a couple of other posts about this on the forum as well so it seams other people are having this problem.

It even happens when the Geometry Collection component is static and hasn’t been activated (Meaning its not been told to break or do anything else). As soon as I remove the Geometry Collection component the actor can be destroyed without anymore crashes.

If anyone has any info or some kind of work around to this that would be amazing, thanks guys.

I’m literally dying from this issue how could this has seriously made it to a stable release

This issue happens to me even if I remove the component before removing the actor… :confused:
