In general we’ve noticed less stability since migrating to Unreal 5, but I’ll keep this post to one specific issue. :-]
The engine consistently crashes (100% repro) upon loading widgets. If we go into one specific folder that contains our main widgets, it will crash on memory. I’m confident that this is due to the thumbnails of the widgets that get loaded in along with the asset as they get found in the content browser.
Can these dynamic thumbnails be turned off in an overall setting, or otherwise could anyone point me in the right direction for adjusting the source code for this? Would be very much appreciated.
Sidenote - this is my first time using this new forum, I used to be a lot more on the old answers forum. I had big difficulty finding the correct main category. There’s about 5 ‘feedback’ categories and I didn’t expect that to be the one containing specific crash issues. But that’s separate from my crash issue here!
