"Hi everyone, I am facing a crash every time I try to open Unreal Engine. The crash reporter shows an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION related to NvPresent64 and D3D12RHI. I cannot enter the engine at all. The full crash details are attached in the screenshots. Any help would be appreciated!"
common crash search the web - you will find videos showing you how to setup your system correctly.
Of course I searched a lot, but to no avail.
Search for Unreal Engine 5 switching the engine to default to DX11 > Once you get the editor running and you make sure it works with DX11. It’s your system that isn’t setup right for the engine or your hardware isn’t capable of running the engine but that is doubtful most hardware can run the engine. Could be that your running on a laptop with a an onboard GPU not a Dedicated GPU.
