UE5 - Componants in BP viewport not updating to world BP

I am experiencing this problem where a componant in the BP editor viewport is not matching in the World view of the BP

In this example I have a simple sphere static mesh componant, squashed a little - but in the viewport the sphere is not squashing - If I adjust it and recompile, nothing happens.

I should also note that this BP is th child of another BP in world but the scale of it is 1,1,1 within its parent.

It seems that it is often very glitchy updating the static meshes through to the world - anyone any ideas if this is a bug or something else?
