Hi everyone, I’m encountering an issue with UE5’s cloth system. Here’s the problem:
I have a rigged pants asset for metahuman exported from Maya to UE. I enabled cloth simulation for this asset and painted the cloth. However, when the character plays animations, the cloth seems to lose its physical collision effect (as if the physics asset isn’t working). The key points are:
- I have confirmed that the Physics Asset is enabled.
- This issue only occurs during character animation playback; it appears normal in a static pose or in edit mode.
- When I adjust cloth properties (like stiffness, damping, etc.) in real-time within the editor, the cloth simulation effect temporarily reappears.
