UE5 cinematic - Tears of the Celestial Guardian

Hi everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well.
I would like to share this project with you, which is very important to me personally and that I have put a lot of effort.
The goal was to make a short cinematic video using Lumen only and rendering in real time. Everything from the concept to post production was done by me, with a few exceptions being 3d models of vehicles, the eye and the music which is by Kevin McLeod.
This took me roughly 2 weeks to complete.

“After the fall of mankind, a god wanders the ruins of civilization lamenting the loss of it’s so loved creatures.”

Here it is:

Some images of the individual shots:

This project was a blast to make, I’ve been cooking this idea for over a year until I finally had the time to work on it.
I wanted to further develop my artistic skills combined with my technical knowledge of the Unreal Engine and get my hands on the whole pipeline of producing this short cinematic.
I sculpted the hero assets on Zbrush and textured on Painter.
It’s rendered in real time on UE5 with Lumen.

Thank you for the attention, have a great day!

Hi there @Corviera,

Welcome back to the Unreal Engine forums! Hope you’ve been well

Just wanted to pop in and say this looks rad in the best ways. I only wish the video was longer - I need a short film! Just out of curiosity, what inspired the creation of this spooky Celestial Guardian?

Thanks!
I’m always sketching some concepts and this project came from a sketch I liked way too much.

A project escaped the sketch book - a miraculous event by itself. :joy: But I can see why this guy broke out, its just brilliant. Do you currently have any plans to create more sketches? If so, be sure to @ me. I’d love to see them!
