UE5 Buoyancy on imported models

Hi! I’m pretty new to Unreal Engine, But i am realizing that this is a very powerfull tool for my project vizualisations, and very fun to work with ( when i’m doing it right…)

I am currently working on a project that includes buoyancy and floating objects. I have created an envirement with a waterbody, nice lighting and all, but i can’t get the buyancy to work on my imported 3D models. I am using datasmith direct import link to import models made in sketchup pro.

I just did a test making an actor with a standard in-enginge-CUBE, added buoyancy and pontoons, and it floats nicely in the water. However, when i imported a cube from sketchup, and did the exact same thing, the sketchup cube just sinks into the water and dissapears, when simulating the game/scene. It is reealy frustrating, and i have tried several times now, with the same result every time. Does anyone know what might be the problem here?
Thanks in avance
Axel

There is no major reason your sketchup cube would behave differently.
How do you simulate buoyancy? Did you check collision, weight and all properties that you would need on your cube and check they are setup properly on your Sketchup imported cube?
