I am using UE5 to drive live visuals in a theater performance. Trying to have voices of actors come through Unreal by snagging a microphone input using a audiocontroller component. I’ve got a solid setup with a Sony lavalier playing into Scarlett 2i2 Focusrite. On any other program there is zero latency with live playback, but when trying to playback audio through unreal there is a major delay. Essentially can’t even speak on stage due to the delay. Tried playing with the audio buffer per previous posts on this forum, but nobody seems to have found a solution. Can’t imagine it’s a huge processing lift to pass this audio straight through the UE5. Got a very beefy computer and the levels are not complex. Why can’t we get a live audio input to work with zero delay?
