UE5.5 Packaging Stuck on Metahuman Groom Assets — 'Waiting for Groom Bindings' Issue

When I try to package my UE5.5 project, it keeps getting stuck on Groom assets that I imported from Metahumans. No matter how long I let the packaging run, it never continues. I have already re-imported and rebuilt the groom assets but that didn’t help. And every time I start a new packaging attempt, it’s different groom assets each time, so it’s not due to a specific groom asset. I would be very grateful if someone could help me.

I’m facing the same problem, it always stuck at 170 packages within 40/45 face mesh and m_thick_eyebrow_binding, sometimes it packages itself in 7 hours sometimes packages in 20 hours, I tried deleting cook folder and save data cache but it doesn’t help at all, I think it’s unreal engine problem

After stuck on this problem for 10 days and 30+ package tries i turned off ‘‘enable virtual texture’’ on project settings somehow it worked but it’s still slow but atleast it’s packaging succesfully, idk if this setting helped or forcing compiling shaders made that idk

Update: After multiple tries it stuck again, but I manage to fix it, problem is ram usage, ue5 trying to flush memory but it doesn’t do well, ram usage keeps ram to 15gb/16gb and it doesn’t able to flush it, I started using memory reduct for ram reduce and flush the ram every 5 minutes, result: it packaged the project within 1 hours now

Can you please explain in more detail how you did this? I still haven’t been able to figure out how to fix this packaging problem with groom assets.
