The BIOS update process is fairly simple:

  1. Take a USB flash drive and format it to FAT32.
  2. Download the BIOS file — for your system, it’s “FLb”. Unzip the archive and save the file to the flash drive.
  3. Plug the flash drive into a USB port on the back of your computer.
  4. Launch Q-Flash — it can be accessed either from within the BIOS or before the operating system loads, similar to entering the BIOS.
  5. Select the update file — for your system, it’s “Z790AORUSELITEAX11.FLb”.
  6. Then just follow the on-screen instructions.
