As the title states, this is majorly borked. However there is a work around by setting the project setting “Output velocities due to vertex deformation” to Off. Further investigation is needed by someone more technical, I just wanted to kick start this convo and see if anyone else had any info

Ran into this as well. Looks like it has been fixed though according to the bug tracker and is targeted for UE5.5
