UE5.3 Nanite landscape not saving

Tried to save an 8kX8k landscape with nanite enabled. But it used up all my available memory (64gb) and editor crashed.
I tried to convert in batches as well but still as soon as i tried to save, the same crash happened after eating up the RAM space.
Does anyone have a possible solution for this?

+1 exact same thing. please fix

Same thing here. Saw someone with 192gb still fail to do this so safe to say the amount of memory seems largely irrelevant.

I have the same issue. I also tried with UE 5.2 but it crashed as well.

+1 on 5.3.1.

load one landscape tile and convert, save, restart engine. load the next one…rinse repeat. i hope epic finds a better solution that prevents memory issues,…because the way it is right now in 5.4 is pretty much impossible to work with.
