I created a static mesh by subtracting a cylinder from a box geometry and then converting to a static mesh. The curve smoothness was determined by the sides on the cylinder. The material was applied to each side and not stretched across each side related to the curve. As a result the sides on the curve look stripy.
I also tried to import the same mesh from a fbx file and the result was the same.
Is there a way to stretch the material over the curve or a way to apply the material without looking like narrow stripes please?
