My unreal engine has fully broken popups. When I hover over a button the context of what the button does takes over the whole screen, and when I hover over or click a button the popup is just another unreal engine window cropped to be the right size.

I think it’s a driver issue. but i have no confirmation about it.
On linux it happens when the compositor is on, or you’ve switched virtual desktops on load. But i’m pretty sure you’re not on linux given that mouse and look.

This shouldn’t happen from a technical standpoint (Referring to UE.) It would have to be something on your device. I mean maybe, I guess there could be something wrong. Try the following in order.

You could try to uninstall and reinstall UE5 to fix any possibly corrupt files.

If this doesn’t work, try rolling back to a previous driver version.

If all else fails, get a licensed specialist to assist you.
