when I finish packaging my game, I usually like testing the game on other computers to see if they work fine. I first tried it on mine and the GPU is at 80%. I test it on my dad’s computer and his GPU is at 100% and the game is getting very slow and runs at 5-10 fps. (i used a stat fps command to show the fps) I’m not sure what is making the game use that much GPU especially if there is hardly anything on the map. my graphics card is a “GTX 1050 TI 4GB EVGA” and my dads GPU is a “Geforce GT 720”.
the highest it went in the editor was 99% but then dropped down to 71% then lower all the way down to about 12%. I’m not sure why the GPU uses most of its power in a packaged game than when playing in the editor.
I might have fixed it. for me, I just changed the fps down to 10 fps, and that seemed to work. I also had resolution down. im not sure what else fixed it because i tried also changing the fps before but, that still didn’t work. guess whatever I did must have fixed it.
