UE4 Why does my metahuman duplicate when I add an animation retargeted from Mixamo to the sequencer??

Hi there!

I’ve been working on an animation in Unreal 4.27, and I’m stuck trying to animate my metahuman using retargeted animations from mixamo. Each time I add a retargeted animation to my metahuman in the sequencer, the metahuman animates, but then another body appears next to it, without a head, and unanimated. Can someone help me resolve this issue?
