There’s stacks of info about moving assets from Cinema 4D to Unreal 4, but I’m yet to find any valuable information for going the other way…
I work for a game trailer company and we’re currently hunting for a decent pipeline for exporting camera anim data from UE4 Sequencer to Cinema 4D and After Effects, for additional polish and mo-graph, but have been unsuccessful so far…
pretty sure u can export the camera out of Sequencer as fbx -bring mograph into Unreal why would u go the other way ?
also i think there was a very high priced plugin on aescripts for bringing into After Effects though it might have stopped being developed. There is a Nuke plugin in the works not sure its availability either .
@GBBACHMAN we have internal solutions now and have massively bolstered our pipelines, unfortunately I cannot share the full details but both UE4 and Houdini have massively improved their integratoins with each other.
@Arcane I cannot discuss particulars but as a game cinematics and trailer production house, we have plenty of reasons to go the other way… Cheers for the advice though, much appreciated!
