Ue4 retarget options affect not-retarget animations

Hello,

I have custom-made animations made in Blender, and they work perfectly in UE4.
Now I also got some premade animations and retarget them to my character. They look broken unless I change the retargeting options from animation to skeleton. Setting retargeting options to skeleton fixes the retargeted animations… but it breaks the custom-made blender animations (hands are at a different location). How do I make it so “retarget options” only affect retargeted animations and not custom-made animations?

I have the same problem. This also happens in UE5. Any ideas?

not 100% sure on this, but reimporting your animations with the updated skeleton might fix this.
