Ue4 performance

I’m wonderring, what does Ue4 make so bad in the engine code. Can you guys check, where’ the problem with performance of ue4 for lower pcs? Cause if they fix this like that ARK should play on nvidia 550 max settings with 60fps. That would be avesome.

Oh yeah. One more thing.

I know, that developers do have a lot of hard work on fixing and adding new features to the engine but please, concentrate more on fixing performance of the ue4 games. You know, that a lot of people say in forums: “My game has such a low fps” or “ARK is lagging soo much that i cannot even play it”. Take a pause on adding to engine and go fixing the performance, because if the games are beautifull, soke people won’t play them. You know why? Because the work soo bad on low pcs.

So please, do something about performance in this year.

It’s up the content creators to use profiling to optimize their games for their target hardware. UE4 is optimized for performance, but for things like the number of objects on screen and higher quality rendering features it is up to optimization by people who create the games. Even then, if you have a lower end GPU or hardware you cannot expect to have higher quality without the consequence of losing FPS.

A programmer can use the best and most optimised game engine to develop games but a good programmer will make use of the game engine feature to optimised their game for better performance. So it’s really have to depends on how the programmer develop their games. Different programmer develop the same things differently.
