UE4 or UE5 crash on Windows 11 with ray tracing

Hi,

each time I start project with ray tracing UE4 or UE5 crash on windows 11, i have try on Windows 10 and its work, but i prefere Win 11… How to solve it ???

Have you tried to create another project with Ray Tracing and open that?

Problem solved with another post, juste modify in config file DX12 to DX11 and now no problem ! Why epic do nothing about this bug ?

I think DX12 is kind of a beta so theres some bugs. but im glad that worked!

Simply change " DefaultGraphicsRHI=DefaultGraphicsRHI_DX12 " to DX11 in C:\Users"yourname"\Documents\Unreal Projects\MyProject\Config\DefaultEngine.ini
Why epic don’t set DX11 by default ? its solve all problem…

Thank you epic, i have download city sample but its crash again because its use DX12, please fix this issue ASAP !!!

Problem not solved with the new nvidia driver update :’(

It’s annoying, I don’t know if it’s the fault of DirectX, Nvidia Driver or Unreal Engine. But for the moment it is just impossible to finish a dx12 project under Windows 11. Problem not solved for months! Please Epic, shake things up.
