UE4 on ARM question: Android or Linux for better performance?

Hi guys, I do have quite a strange question. Does anyone have some interesting experience with builing UE4 games for the ARM platforms and running them on something like this:
http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G140448267127

It can run both on Android and Linux (Arch Linux ARM for example) but which one would be a wiser choice for a UE4 game machine. Which one should give better performance and stability? And maybe some of you have some general experience with developing other apps for the Linux ARM environment?

Any constructive thoughts are very much welcome.

My guess is that Android would run better, since it’s more optimized for that type of thing, though you could be limited on features. Linux support isn’t complete yet for UE4.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This was out first idea as well but after doing some research we did find some opinions that a pure Linux is actually more efficient on ARM platforms than Android.

Is there any chance, that as a Moderator, you could get someone from Epic interested in this thread? Someone who has been responsible for the cross compiling for Linux maybe? The official documentation says that it has been tested on the NVIDIA’s Jetson TK1, which is a similiar kind of platform to the one we might have a chance to work on. We are currently offering UE4 as an engine solution for an ARM based coin operated machine and any insight from Epic would be invaluable. And if the project gets a “go” we will be more than happy to share all of our experiences with the Epic team, if they find any of our experience interesting.
