I migrated a blueprint from an old project to the new project, when I tried to open(double click) or right click the blueprint in the new project, ue4 became not responding. But there is no problem opening the aforesaid blueprint in the old project, it opened without any problems.
How to solve this? help please…
BTW both projects are 4.10
This is too vague for me to help. If the Blueprint isn’t too big might be quicker to just re-create it. Assuming (and hoping) it’s a once off issue.
I have the same problem, just started using this, but whenever I left or right click on a blueprint application just freezes, and I’ve got to kill it through task manager, I’m trying to mod Ark: Survival Evolved, so all this must have worked for the devs, what am I doing differently?
Hi lhua,
- What steps did you take to migrate the blueprint over to the new project?
- Does this occur in a clean, blank project with no additional content or is it limited to one project?
- Try running clean up redirectors in the original project on the content folder before migrating the assets. Does this resolve the error?
- What steps can I take to reproduce this on my end?
-i copy the migrated folder to the new project, then I tried to double clicking the blueprint, and it make the ue freeze…
-haven’t tried it in a clean project…
Did you try using the migrate function within the content browser as opposed to copy/pasting the folder? Try doing so after fixing up redirectors to see if you get the same error.
Hi Ihua,
We have not heard from you in several days. I am marking this as answered for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing this error, please comment with the requested information.
it works, thanks so much, sorry for the late reply, been doing other features because I lose hope on this, thinking to do it again from scratch, but it works, thanks so much!
