Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how to stop meshes from deteriorating when moving away from them?
Basically what happens is as I move further away from a mesh the thin parts like the ropes and railings on this crane become very blurry, flicker and look as if I was running the game in a lower resolution, but all my settings are on epic and scalability is on 100%.
This is what it looks like:
In other games meshes look crisp even when viewed from far away, I’ve only noticed this issue in UE4.
If we take a look at other games, e.g. Mafia 2, even thing objects like the port crane in the background look very crisp.
I have noticed that the default BSP static meshes such as “cube” from UE4 do not behave in the same way (even though I have scaled it to be the same size as the rope), so what is the deal with this? How do I turn the deterioration off?
Thanks in advance! ![]()
