UE4 Launcher not showing the 4.3 / 4.4 updates

Hey all,

I just resubscribed and heard the engine is now at 4.4+ Fantastic!
I just got my sub back and launched the ue4 launcher and my version is 4.2.1 and thats it.
I have looked everywhere and Im unable to update it past 4.2.1.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, still shows only 4.2.1

Hey Noxide89-

When you open the Launcher and go to the Library tab there should be a plus sign above the list of installed engines. Clicking this will show a new install option for other engine versions.

This is the most confusing system. I hit the plus sign and it sticks an older version, but only AFTER you hit that tiny well hidden down arrow can you choose.

I couldn’t come up with a more mysterious way to show engine versions if I tried. Well hidden… very frustrating.
