UE4 Launcher and External HD (PC)

I’m migrating projects from my PC to an external HD.

How can I get the Launcher to recognize the new location of these projects?

I’m in the Launcher directory (C://Program FIles (x86)/Epic Games/Launcher) looking for config files.

Is this a redirect? Or, is there a process required for migration?

The newly copied projects are detected after cloning a project over to the xHD. However, neither the copies, nor the clone, are detected after exiting and restarting the Launcher.

It would be great if file detection could happen automatically. I’m sure it can, I just need to know what needs to change.

Creating a new project in the xHD seems to do the trick. Projects in both the original and new directories are detected after restarting PC.

But this could be easily reverted. Hoping for a better solution.
