UE4 Keeps crashing saying I'm out of video memory

I am using UE4 and just randomly when I open a blue print or animation it will tell me I’m out of video memory but I have a GTX 1070 with 8 GB of video memory so surely that’s enough to use UE4

  • Make sure you don’t have anything else running
  • Update your graphics drivers
  • Are you doing anything specific in the engine or just opening a new project?

Your graphics card should be fine to run the engine.

There’s nothing else running. I have the latest driver. It only really happens when I open things like a blueprint, animation, level.
