UE4 could very much use a key or key combination that allows you to temporarily hide the open panels on the screen to give you maximum real estate for the persp or ortho view. This would be the equivalent of using the tab key in Photoshop or Lightroom to temporarily hide open panels.
You can use the “Immersive Mode” shortcut (default: F11) to make your viewport fill the editor window. Does that help?
Yes, after a quick reassign in the shortcut editor to the tab key that will work great. Thanks for the heads-up, missed that when searching through the keyboard shortcuts earlier.
