So, one day I decided to try to build UE4 from sources. Somewhere in progress, fighting mostly with my own stupidity, I told to myself: “Wait, why not to make it possible to install it just like you install all the software?” Since I’m using Gentoo, I decided to write ebuild. And it even worked (at least at my PC).
But it still has some (actually, lots of) style problems and possibly some bugs too. Sadly, I won’t have any time to work on it anytime soon. Probably, there are also some things I have not enough experience to deal with. So if anyone is interested in fixing it and maybe getting it to some overlay to make it available to everyone, he (or she) is welcome. My code is attached to the bug report I linked earlier.
