I am on a Windows 10 HP Laptop.
I tried opening UE 4.20 but it always gets stuck at 96% loading.
After a while my cursor turns into the blue loading circle and if I click on my desktop the loading screen for the engine disappears and mt desktop goes completely white.
Every time…
I have restarted my PC so many times and retried to have the same thing happen.
Then I decided to rollback to 4.16.
This time it got stuck at 18% an did the same thing.
This started to happen after I deleted my DerivedCache foldee to recompile shaders for some materials to show up. Which I was told was a legit thing to do.
I don’t know what’s going on but it seems to be only the engine that’s messing up. Blender however opens up quickly, no issue.
I have to click on the UE launcher icon so many times for it to pop up because the first time doesn’t work after waiting 10 minutes for it to show the loading screen.
Then when it finally does it does the above problem with the white desktop.
Here’s my computer specs.
