Hello!
UE4 (post process volume) have several DOF functions. That’s great, but for a First Person Game, the DOF function is useless.
After 2 hours of searching I post my question here:
On a First person game is the weapon very close to the camera, is it possible to deactivate DOF for special objects like a gun?
By any question just ask
I hope someone can help me…
Greetings
Change to Gaussian DOF and adjust the Focal Distance and the Near Transition properties.

Thanks for your answer!
I use the near transition to make a wall unsharp when you get to close.
And I dont have to use extreme high res textures, only 4k for this purpose.
So Near transition doesnt help me…
Well, UE4 doest hsve selective rendering of any kind; neither render layers etc, like Unity has.
