UE4 crashes when editing capsule component of characterBP

I am using UE4.12.5.

I do not get a callstack, it just closes without a reason why, it doesn’t even say UE4.12.5 has stopped working.

I tried exporting it to a new clean project and it doesn’t happen there.

Could you provide the log file from the project that this occurred in? It may have some more information. Also, what exactly where you editing about the capsule component when the editor closed?

Where can I find the log?

I was editing the capsule radius but it happens with anything that I edit in the capsule component.

The log file can be found in the project’s directory under Saved/Logs. It should be a text file with the same name as the project.

We haven’t heard from you in a while, MrGoatsy. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, can you provide the information requested in my previous comment? In the meantime, I’ll be marking this as resolved for tracking purposes.

It got fixed in 4.14.
