Hi David,

Thanks for sending the crash logs you have sent so far.

In order to pinpoint the issue, please provide more information about your Mac’s specs. You can find this in the Apple menu >About This Mac>More Info> Add the information from this window (serial # not necessary).

We also need the following information from the “System Report:” Apple menu >About This Mac > System Report>Hardware (All information listed in the “Hardware Overview.”) You can cut and paste this information or provide screen shots, whichever is more convenient.

If the crash reporter window is present when the crash occurs, please select “Copy Callstack to the Clipboard,” paste that information in a document and add to this post (This should include your Machine ID at the top) Be sure to hit: “Submit” on the Crash Reporter pop-up to send the Crash Report to Epic.

Thanks

Hi David,

After doing a little more research into the logs you provided, I found your system specs. The graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M, PCIe, 512 MB is below the suggested requirements to run this software.

However, there are some adjustments in the editor you can make that should help:

  1. Change the scalability settings to low
  2. Set the Material Quality Level to low
  3. Set Preview Rendering Level to “Shader Model 4”
  4. under Viewporit options, unselect “Realtime.”

These settings, while not ideal, should at least allow you to experiment further with signficantly less crashes, if any.
