UE4 Corrupts Blendshapes/Morph Targets on export


  1. Import a Skeletal mesh containing
    Blenshapes (in my Case a mixamo Character) to UE4
  2. Export this Mesh
  3. Reimport the just exported mesh

I was able to reproduce this issue and have entered UE-30020 into our system. However, I am unsure if morph target exports were disabled on purpose.


Is there any notion that this is going to be fixed? I purchased the character creator from the marketplace and seeing as I need my characters clothing to morph with their body the package is useless, I need to be able to export these morph targets and i’m sure i’m not the only one who needs this. It has been backlogged for almost 10 engine versions.
