UE4 - BP Post Process comp causes flat meshes to... shine bright like a diamond, why? pic att.

Hi, i added a post process component to a Blueprint, but now i discovered that it causes an intense shine on flat surfices, they become ultra bright as i get close, and they lose it after i get too far from that mesh, no idea how to fix this brightness… please help.


A combination of various factors cause that.
Auto exposure, lowpoly surface, low roughness, high metallic values on material, camera angle relative to directional light angle, etc.

Solved, it was actually Bloom Intensity, it was bigger than 1, then it caused this shine at 5.
