UE4 AnswerHub vs. Forums?

Hey, UE4 devs. It seems like there are two official places to ask questions about UE4 development: these forums, and the UE4 AnswerHub over at answers.unrealengine. What’s the difference supposed to be? Seems like information is a little spread out between the two?

Take a look at this thread: https://forums.unrealengine/showthread.php?1855-What-s-the-purpose-of-having-the-forum-AND-the-answer-hub

AnswerHub

Focused questions and direct answers to them
Descriptive bug reports for Epic
Assistance with troubleshooting Installation & Setup issues

Forums

Open discussions, broad questions not likely to have a single answer, sharing ideas and workflows
Feedback and suggestions for Epic with input from other users (we like Polls)
Letting others know what you are working on, and getting help with it

Answerhub : professional and serious
forums : ******** whining cursing and 5 yr olds

True about the first one. (Minus those !^%$@^!#% spammers.)
But I believe you are wrong on the second. This Forum is not full of Whining, cursing and 5 year olds.
I do believe it is full of helpful and smart people!

Answerhub when I need help from the pros…
Forums when I’m trying to relax a bit and share/help someone.

Answer-hub when I want a direct question answered but know that it won’t be unless it’s a bug report :stuck_out_tongue:
Forums when I have a general question that may have several answers, or when I want to have a discussion.

Answer-Hub: When I have 20+ days to wait for an answer (never)

Forums: When I need an answer to a question, or I need to de-stress (all the time)

Lol exactly my thoughts

Haha!

Glad I’m not alone.

UEAnswerHub seems dead. No one seems to be answering anything on there.

Even a simple bug report seems to go unanswered now.
