Have you tried to generate the .sln by selecting File> Generate visual studio Project? Once it generates, you can go file > open visual studio, or double-click a source file.
Hello.
I’m very new to using UE4/5 with C++.
I can create new project with C++, but Visual Studio won’t automatically open.
Also opening .sln by Tools->open with Visual Studio will fail, with message “could not open .sln”.
How should I do?
TIA.
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have tried, but it didn’t work.
I can open .sln by Windows Explorer directly, but from UE Editor I cannot open .h or .cpp files.
I’ve found the solution
Just give admin privileges to UnrealEditor.exe
