UE4 4.20 crashes everytime I open a static mesh to convert into a destructable

  1. Enabled APEX Destruction plugin
  2. Right click on mesh → Create Destructible Mesh
  3. Choose Cell Site Count (Don’t use more than 1000)
  4. Click Fracture Mesh
  5. Save. Voila!
    If you have any troubles i suggest you to try it on simple meshes, like cube to find if it’s working at all for you
