UE4.23: Error building game with spatial OS. -Target="ShaderCompileWorker Win64 Development" -WaitMutex -FromMsBuild" exited with code 255

I have run into an error trying to build my group project using the spatial OS fork of UE4. Every time I try to build the game, I keep getting the following error.

Error MSB3073 The command ““D:\Program Files\UE4.23-SpatialOSGDK\Engine\Build\BatchFiles\Build.bat” -Target=“LegionEditor Win64 Development
-Project="D:\G-Unreal_Projects_(Group)\Legion\Legion(Game)\Legion.uproject"” -Target=“ShaderCompileWorker Win64 Development” -WaitMutex
-FromMsBuild” exited with code 255.

I currently have both Visual Studio 2017 and 2019 installed but I don’t think they would be in conflict but I could be wrong. I am unsure what the issue is and I have been trying to figure this out for days with no luck. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreaciated.
