UE4.18 crash on launch in macOS 15.1

UE4.18 can not launch with macOS 15.1 with xcode16.1 installed, Launch will show UE logo picture
and progress goes to 45% then the Editor will not responding.
How to fix this.

Have you just installed it? This sounds like shaders compiling, which can take anything from a few minutes to an hour or so, depending on hardware.

It did newly installed.
Question is I keep it running for a whole day it still stuck on 45%.

Hi, still have that problem ,the machine is just an intel based iMac 2020 .

Oh, I see! Did you try uninstalling/reinstalling UE entirely? As Clock mentioned, that sounds like the engine waiting for compiling shaders. (Also, does this happen when launching a specific project or does it happen regardless?)

Yes,I uninstall /install for several times, even reinstall macOS,UE5.0-UE5.5 can all launch real quick.
UE4.18-UE4.27 all can not launch ,at 45%.

It shows Initializing…45% , before compiling shaders stage.

I just wait for any developer to confirm UE4 can run on MAC15.1.

I installed mono 5.16 ,engine launch successful ,
May be this is the solution.
