UE Project Samples and MH plugins locked to Windows Only

Hi,

So after envying having a GPU for two years I made the leap and switch from 100% Mac to a Mac Laptop and a Windows workstation (with a 12900 and a 3090).

This is now allowing me to explore more about Metahumans and other more recent samples for UE5.
Surprinsingly UE5 runs pretty smoothly on my macbookpro too and it’s the reason of this post.
For some strange reason MH, and other samples are limited to windows only, taking a closer look (at least the one I need now) the reason is not technical… As I can open the MH project on the mac and (besides groom popping often) it’s visually much closer than I expected.
Is there a reason to limit that many samples/assets to windows only?
Does the EULA forbid it? Because I’m looking at the library legendary (GitHub - derrod/legendary: Legendary - A free and open-source replacement for the Epic Games Launcher) and I’m thinking about making my own launcher to remove those limitations.
