UE Games Keep Crashing with ntdll error

Hello
Maybe this isnt the right place to post this ?

As the title says i keep getting the same crash error while playing UE games for example, Rocket League or Palworld.

The Crashes happen at random times, the only thing that is near to this problem in any way is discord restarting at random times.

Here are 2 different crashes.

It ends always with Kernel32
ntdll

Ive tried uninstalling games and reinstalling
Installing UE
Restored WIndows
Disabled Windows Defender/Firewall
Ran Windows memory diagnostic and memtest 86
Ran CPU and GPU stress tests

Any suggestion on what else i can try would be great

Greetings @TaloFN

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum. Have you tried running the games without Discord open and see if it affects that? Also, with these types of specific errors that you provided I’d recommend going into your NVIDIA Control Panel and resetting your GPU settings to global default. I know it sounds like a weird fix. But, I’ve saw these errors a lot and it’s generally driver related. Let me know your findings!

have seen the same exact error call stacks. You know what is also very interesting? We both have 4090 and Z790 (although I got the dark hero).

I have the exact same issue. No idea how to fix it - done a complete windows reinstall/game reinstalls/driver reinstalls. Two games that I play (The Finals/Squad) completely crash after playing for 10-15 minutes. Please help.

Thanks epic games for your beaautifyul crashes ingame. Game over.

Hello

Ive tried playing without discord and nothing changes, i get the same error after playing for some minutes.

Ive reseted everything to default on Nvidia CP as you recommended but this still doesnt change the error.

I can provide any type of .dmp or something if you need to.

The only solution i got so far is playing with only 1 RAM stick, since when i use 2 i get the error.

Ive tried changing the RAM slot, tired both slots with both RAMS at one time and very rarely i get a crash, it still happens tho sometimes, with both RAMs it crashes.

Now in The Finals i get the crash

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xffffffffffffffff

I see. That’s really interesting with the RAM. You mentioned it was the 2x16GB 7200Mhz XMP II Team Group. That’s DDR5 running at 7200Mhz according to the specs you listed. I would compare your Intel® Core™ i9-13900K Processor specs and make sure your CPU/RAM have compatible speeds. I’ve saw RAM be faster than what a CPU is rated to support and cause stability issues, crashes, etc. If I recall they went into their BIOS and adjusted some settings to remedy it. But, first I’d check and make sure that is actually an issue before continuing. But, it sounds like that could be the problem. Let me know what you find!

I am also facing the same issue.
