UE 5 packaging error

I cannot package a game in UE 5. It comes up witg an unknown error.

Why don’t you go ahead and post that error here! We can try to parse through it the best we can! There’s not really much we can do with knowing that it’s saying unknown error, it’s not as smart as we are :wink:

Hi, sorry about that. I was trying to put out a question on a phone at 2 O’clock in the morning, which is incredible hard especially if you have fat thumbs :rofl: So this is a group project done through perforce. It includes the PCG and Async loading screen plugins. We tried to cook it yesterday and it came up with errors relating to the intermediate, DerievedDataCache and Saved folders. So one of my team members deleted those and the cook passed. Then we tried to package it, which it failed. I’ll send the failed cook from the first attempt as I did that, and I’ll also get you the package that failed as well


Now, we have managed to get a successful package. This was done by deleting the folders again for some reason and this time it worked :rofl: We have a loading screen that is meant to look like the image above. However it looks like this in the final package

Quick update, it works now. Just deleted those folders, updated VS code, added a new camera as a pawn class and set it to possess player in the menu, and packaging again
