Reproduce 1:
- Select a clothing Static Mesh asset, right-click and choose Convert to Skeletal Mesh.
- Export this skeletal mesh to Maya, randomly brush the weights, move the bones, and you will find that the clothing is separated by UV cutting.
Reproduce 2:
- Create a Chaos Cloth Asset.
- Use Static Mesh Import node to import a clothing static mesh, only select Import Render Mesh.
- Add TransferSkinWeights node, select Render Mesh for Target Mesh, and choose a character model, leave others as default.
- Connect ClothAssetTerminal node, select the preview model and animation, play the animation, and you will find that the clothing model has been cut open according to UV.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
